2024 Fundraising Event - Washington DC
Join us to celebrate Sailing this year!
We came a long way and now have a community of 400 sailors across the US! To continue operating our young organization, we need your support more than ever. Week on week, we thrive to keep Sailing affordable, as affordability is a condition to keeping our dreams alive. Let me share with you how we do it:
- Share knowledge and skill up by spending enough time on the same sailboat
- Foster teaming and bet on solidarity before contracting service partners
- Collaborate to procure wizely and share marina's expenses
- Organize one fundraising per year

You decide what amount, 150 or more, you would like to donate to propel forward A/S on its mission.

A/S Membership
Memberships get you access to the calendar of events, to community listings and to advertise your A/S profile as sailor owner or non-owner, or as marine professional.

It is all about sailing after all! During the A/S fundraising, we invite you to reflect on past SailTime and appreciate how it all happened: Owners acquired sailboats and managed them to treat you with sailing. But there are expenses that teaming and knowledge sharing will never curb, which are marina and marine parts which amount to 1,000's if not 10,000's per year!

Consider donating 100-1000 for good times spent together on the water in the past.
Future SailTime
If you wish to book a sail and invite friends and family, consider donating
- 100 pp for 8h journey. Max 10.
- 200 pp for 20h journey with Friday night sail and sleepover. Max 5.
The surest and quickest way to build your sailing and technical skills is to join an Avid Team and learn as you go. Not only you will learn about operations, safety and what is required to keep it seaworthy, but also you will participate per your capabilities and abilities.
Great Sailing stories are shared and experiences are acquired over time. If you wish to elevate your game in sailing consider joining an Avid Team. Discounted Seats are limited in number. Just select your prefered class.

This year, we have been building a fully featured platform in the backend to help us manage sailboats, business operations, jobs, calendar, fleets, accounting and communications.
