A/S Event: Hangout & Community Boats

Join A/S that beautiful Fall weekend!
The sailing season never stops with Avid Sailors. We welcome you again or for the first time.
- 6-9pm Friday
- Come early, walk to the end of Dock D, and meet us there.
- Enjoy meeting Avid Sailors (members and non-members) be yourself, come with a smile and a mug.
- Wear flat shoes with clean sole to visit our community boats.
- Last soft drink or coffee will be served @8:30pm.
- 9pm Friday - 6pm Saturday - A/S MEMBERS ONLY
- Evening and next-day Sailing if the weather permits.
- Bring a warm jacket, sleeping bag, bed sheet & pillow, change of clothes, your tooth brush...
- Bring food to share as nothing but water is onboard.
- No alcohol or smoking prior or while onboard.
The goal is really simple: to meet sailors, exchange great stories, discover what A/S can be for you and optionally form the next series of Avid Teams!
We look forward to meeting you in person this weekend, come with a friend.

The surest and quickest way to build your sailing and technical skills is to join an Avid Team and learn as you go. Not only you will learn about operations, safety and what is required to keep it seaworthy, but also you will participate per your capabilities and abilities.
Great Sailing stories are shared and experiences are acquired over time. If you wish to elevate your game in sailing consider joining an Avid Team. Discounted Seats are limited in number. Just select your prefered class.
